Global Business Head - Automotive & Rail
As the Global Business Head for Automotive and Rail, Alfonso is responsible for driving the company’s business growth across these two key verticals by building high-performance engineering teams and developing services to support our customers. He will be driving our strategy and action plans to partner with our customers and increase the pace of product development while improving operational efficiency through innovation.
Alfonso joined Quest Global in 2021 after having spent 30 successful years in Engineering & Consulting Services. After spending a year as an officer in the Engineers Corp. of the Spanish Air Force, he worked as an Aerodynamic and CFD expert before he co-founded a successful start-up company in Engineering and R&D services in his home country, Spain.
The company was later acquired by the Altran, where he spent most of his career, serving in senior positions, before becoming a member of the Global Industry & Operations Executive Committee of the Altran Group. Just before joining Quest Global, he was the Executive Vice-President for Aeronautics at Capgemini Engineering.
Passionate about Aviation and Motorsports, Alfonso holds an MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Madrid Polytechnic University, and has completed the Advanced Management Program at IESE Business School.
